Global HVACR leader Daikin Industries has recently continued to advance its global strategic development, focusing on low-carbon refrigeration, heat pump technology upgrades, and regional production optimization, in response to structural demand shifts driven by energy transition and rising building efficiency standards.

In terms of technology, the company is accelerating product upgrades centered on the R32 low-GWP refrigerant system, while expanding its application in commercial buildings and industrial refrigeration systems. As global decarbonization policies become increasingly stringent, low-carbon refrigeration technologies are emerging as a mainstream industry direction.

In its regional strategy, Daikin continues to strengthen its manufacturing network in Southeast and South Asia, enhancing supply chain resilience and delivery efficiency through localized production, supporting growing demand from residential upgrades, commercial real estate development, and industrial energy-saving renovation projects.

At the same time, the company is increasing investment in heat pump systems, with a focus on building decarbonization markets in Europe and North America, while gradually expanding into Asian markets. Heat pumps are increasingly shifting from alternative equipment to core components of building energy systems.

In addition, Daikin is actively expanding into data center cooling and high-density refrigeration solutions to meet the rapidly growing cooling demand driven by AI and cloud computing development.
