Daikin deal to advance data centre cooling

SINGAPORE: Daikin Holdings Singapore is to collaborate with Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Delta Electronics on coolant distribution units for AI and high‑performance computing data centres across the ASEAN/Oceania region.

The strategic partnership aims to deliver an integrated, end‑to‑end data centre cooling ecosystem capable of supporting rack power densities ranging from 100kW to 3000kW, featuring Delta Fans and Thermal Business Group’s in-rack and in-row CDU portfolios.

Daikin Industries noted that by combining Daikin’s strength in data centre grey-space cooling with Delta’s white-space and chip-level expertise, the collaboration enables holistic thermal management solutions spanning from facility‑level infrastructure down to servers and chips.
